What is RaDF?

• RaDF is derived from the words Rapid Documents Formatter.
• The product generates documents using XML and CSS files.
• At this stage, the product can generate PDF documents, but it will also be able to generate Excel files in the future.
• The advantages of this product are speed (native application libraries) and the ease of maintaining documents.
• Documents can be compiled from small sections using templates, variables and elements that automatically generate numbers, such as topic numbers, page numbers and figure numbers. Templates and variables are not limited to a single document but are widely used across multiple documents.
• Documents can also be generated in batches — a large number at once — in which case resources are loaded into memory only once. On average, a document takes about 0.1-0.5 seconds to generate, depending on the number of pages. Documents can also be generated in parallel.
• The product uses its own packaging method, which allows documents to be generated in multiple instances, since the necessary resources are always found within the package itself, rather than in resources maintained separately within the operating system.
• The product will first be available for the Windows operating system and later for a few Linux distributions and possibly also for the macOS operating system.

What is RaDF Xml2PDF?

• The Xml2PDF application is an editor that allows you to design the layout of a document based on an XML file generated by an external system, or you can use the application to create a ready-made template for generating an XML file.
• Currently, Xml2PDF can only be installed natively on Windows. In practice, any x86-64 Windows system will work, but Windows 11 is officially supported. On the other hand, the Xml2PDF application also works fairly well on other operating systems using Wine

The ZIP file contains the installation package (EXE), unzip the file and install the software. Windows may display a warning about an unknown publisher.

The demo includes 22 examples.

It's also worth noting that this is an early-stage demo, but it's ready enough for public trial.
